Hey there, Queen! 

Let’s chat about something that has been a total game-changer in my life, and I bet it could be for you too. I’m talking about journaling.


My Journey: From “Dear Diary” to "Girl Guess What Happened Today!"

Sis, let me tell you, I’ve been riding the journaling train since I was just a little 11-year-old girl with big feelings after my father left. It all started with those classic “Dear Diary” moments. But little did I know, those scribbles would become my ticket to healing my relationship with my dad, myself and fulfilling my dreams of marriage, motherhood and entrepreneurship. 

Why Journaling is the Tea

  1. Spill Your Thoughts: Girl, sometimes our minds are busier than a Black Friday sale! Journaling lets you dump all those thoughts onto paper.
  2. Feeling Your Feelings: Do your emotions got you feeling like a rollercoaster? Write them down and watch the magic happen. One day I wrote down 20 different emotions I was feeling. Tell you what? I felt so much better. 
  3. Solve Your Problems: Stuck on a problem? Your journal is like your personal life coach. Many times the answer is right there in front of you. 
  4. Plan your Glow Up:  Goals, plans, and dreams. Write them all down and make them happen! 
  5. Celebrate Your Wins: Did something happen? Write it, celebrate it, live it!!

The Tea on Not Journaling

Listen up, Sis!! Not journaling is like leaving your favorite outfit in the closet. What a waste!  Without journaling, you might:

  1. Keep all those feelings bottled up. Lord knows that’s not healthy. 
  2. Miss out on some serious self-discovery.
  3. Forget all the amazing things you’ve accomplished. 

How to Get Started

  1. Grab a cute journal (or use your phone if you’re feeling techy)
  2. Set aside some me-time, even if it’s just 5 minutes. 
  3. Write whatever comes to mind. No rules, no judgment. 
  4. Make it a habit. Consistency is key Sis!
