Peaceful Thoughts Therapy
Mpho Perras, LMFT

Welcome to Peaceful Thoughts Therapy.  I commend you for taking the first step to healing your life.

Do you constantly feel you aren’t good enough? Are you constantly second-guessing yourself?  Are you hiding behind a mask of being successful, but when you are alone, your insecurities come pouring out?  You end up in tears or numbing your feelings with food, drugs, alcohol, bad relationships, etc.

Self-esteem can affect your mental health. Negative thoughts about yourself can lead to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger or other issues. Self-esteem begins in childhood and may fluctuate depending on your life experiences, good or bad.  There may be a point in time that you no longer recognize who you are. You start to please everyone, and lose focus on your wants and needs. You begin to doubt yourself and your abilities, stay in unhealthy relationships, make self-destructive decisions (drugs, promiscuity, eating disorders) or withdrawal and isolate. You become stuck and cannot move forward. You lose yourself and who you are. Sometimes you even forget who you were.

If you are ready to conquer self-doubt, overcome self-criticism, recognize your inner worth and heal and nurture your core self, you have come to the right place. If you choose me as your therapist, I will help you address your self-esteem and gain a stronger sense of self.

My goal is to help you find your true self with three words:

Restore, Cherish, and Discover
Restore your faith in your life and your relationships.
Cherish yourself and the life you choose to live.
Discover who you were truly meant to be.

If you are ready to remove your mask and show the world your authentic self, give me a call at (510) 250 - 3091 or send me an email at mpho@peacefulthoughtstherapy.com.
