California Based therapist providing

Compassionate therapy for women healing from the effects of an absent father.

Guiding you to heal father wounds, find inner peace, and build lasting confidence to thrive in love and relationships.

Have you ever thought to yourself?:

No one will ever love me.
Something must be wrong with me.
I’m not good enough.
This relationship is too good to be true.
Once they get to know me, they will leave me.

You’re not alone. You’ve done all the “right” things—college, career, travel, friendships—but something still feels missing. You question your worth, second-guess your decisions, and find it hard to trust yourself or others. And as a woman of color, you’ve had to prove your worth twice as hard, all while navigating racial trauma, microaggressions, and systemic biases.

These thoughts and feelings often trace back to the father wound—emotional pain caused by an absent, neglectful, or emotionally unavailable father. At Peaceful Thoughts Therapy, my mission is to help women of color feel seen, heard, and valued. You belong here. You matter. You are safe.

Why Choose Me

Girl, I’ve Been Where You Are. The Absent Father. The feelings of shame, self-doubt, sadness, and low self-esteem. The fear of rejection, abandonment and not being good enough. And what about those relationship struggles? Chile, please! I was the queen of first dates. The endless tears and constantly asking myself “What is wrong with me?” I know more than just theory. I’ve lived the healing process and can guide with hope and empathy.

My expertise the Father Wound and how father abandonment affects every area of your life. This trauma can show up in your career, education, relationships and sense of self-worth.

As a woman of color, I SEE you in a world that may make you feel invisible  and overlooks all you have to offer the world. You are not just another client. When we work together, you will feel seen, heard, and supported. I’m not a “mmhmm” or “uh huh” therapist. I will interact with you. You will feel truly heard.
